Getting the Gist

December 11, 2011 by Danielle Filed Under: Girlfriends Podcast 4 Comments

I am so excited about this new project I have been working on (with Rachel Balducci and Carolee McGrath) at CatholicTV.

The Gist is a different kind of morning show, by women and for women, that will be launching on CatholicTV in January 2012.

Find The Gist on Facebook (lots of cool photos from our first two days of taping there).

Follow The Gist on Twitter.

And check out this mini-clip of one of the shows, where we talk about saving money at the grocery store and Rachel’s extreme couponing. If Catholic women care about it and are talking about it, it’s all fair game on The Gist!

How do you get Catholic TV? Is it on Dish Network or Cable? Or is it a YouTube channel? How is it related to or different from EWTN ? Thanks!

You can call your cable company and ask for it — it might be available. CatholicTV is completely separate from EWTN and, even if your cable company doesn’t carry it, CatholicTV shows are always available online: http://www.catholictv.com/

I loved this clip…I’m really looking forward to a good show with women talking about all things…not just Catholic…I know this is what I’ve been waiting for. Praying for a well received tv show!

We were not blessed with children, the Lord has blessed us in so many ways

I watch the Gist as often as possible. I learn: how you bring your families together in faith and teach your young ones about Jesus

Even I am with children, I always learn about my faith, you also teach me to grow in my love of Jesus

And yes, to pick up my messy room and do my wifely duties.

For those of childless, you all pass along so very much

My mantra when I don’t want to do my chores: Blessed Mother help me to do the next right thing. I may say it often, lol, but stuff gets done

Thank you all. Looking forward to a New Year with the Gist
