Children Blogging for Life
Maureen Wittmann organized a trip to the March for Life this year for 40 kids. Afterwards, she asked the participants to write up their reflections for posting on her blog. These 10-18 year olds really have something to say! See all the entries here.
Tragic Death
Prayers are requested for the souls of two young students who died in a tragic accident and for the grieving families and friends they leave behind. They were two of the approximately 80 students in the small, close-knit community at Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Academy, a small private Catholic college in Barry’s Bay, Ontario. Lourdes 150th Anniversary
Catholics can receive a plenary indulgence for taking part in any public or private devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes, said U.S. Cardinal J. Francis Stafford, head of the Apostolic Penitentiary, a Vatican court dealing with indulgences and matters of conscience.
