Last night I attended an online presentation about organizing your classroom given by Maureen Wittmann at Homeschool Connections. Since I’ll be presenting there next month, I was curious to see how the online presentation went.
It was really cool.
Not only did Maureen offer helpful tips, pointers, and down to earth practical advice, I was impressed by the commnication between participants as well.
During the talk, which you could hear through speakers or a headset, participants were able to submit questions or suggestions to Maureen and to one another through a live chat. Though there were a few technical glitches (that’s to be expected when anything new like this is getting started) on the whole I found the entire experience to be streamlined and simple to take part in.
I am now really looking forward to doing my presentation about homeschool relationships there on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at 7:30 pm central time.
I hope that you’ll consider joining us. Space is limited, so if you’d like to tune in, you should take the time to register now.
