First, the all-important baby chick update. I feel like a nervous grandmother here. One chick has hatched, a second is on its way pecking and peeping loudly, and a third egg is a suspected “dud.” Somebody call Templeton, please. The proud mother hen with hatchlings on the feast of the Assumption is named Regina. Of course.
