Puppy Chow
A well-loved recipe from Danielle’s collection.
9 cups Crispix or rice or corn Chex cereal
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter and margarine in micro or on stove until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal and stir until evenly coated. Pour into large plastic food storage bag; add powdered sugar. Seal bag and shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
