Raphael’s reaching milestones this summer. Come read the details at Faith & Family Live.
From Maureen Wittmann at Homeschool Connections:
Last week Domenico Ruggiero gave an awesome webinar on his work at NASA. It was a wonderful learning experience for my family. The great news is that the webinar was recorded and you can watch it yourself at: One Small Step for Parents, One Giant Leap for Homeschool Kids: Insights from a NASA Engineer.
PLUS, Domenico arranged with NASA to give away all kinds of neat NASA goodies — posters, decals, rulers, and more. To receive these giveaways drop Domenico an email. He’ll email back a form so you can choose what you would like to receive. But don’t wait! The deadline is August 19, 2009.
I hate “modesty” articles.
I hate the preachy “church lady” voice I hear in my head as I read most of them.
But lo and behold!
Benjamin Wiker has managed to write an article on modesty at Mass that is sensitive, entertaining, practical, and inspiring — all at once!
Arrest me now. Apparently, I’ve weaned all my babies on … drugs!
Probably more than you ever wanted to know about the secrets behind bad Catholic music, but a VERY interesting read. At least for this mom who found herself singing the most ridiculous lyrics last weekend — I won’t even blog them. But believe me, they were ridiculous.
Oh, of course you believe me.

Very interesting to read the differences between an Obama administration and a Bush administration when it comes to a National Day of Prayer.
