We are having a new septic system put in this week. I am not embarrassed to admit that I am all kinds of excited about this. Yes, we are paying someone a ridiculous amount of money for the privilege of having our yard torn up and … being able to flush the toilet on a regular basis. Oh, and take showers. September 10th, 2011 Daniel turns five today.
He was up at dawn this morning, suffering with the beginnings of a cold. A runny nose with a sore throat. Poor birthday boy.
He woke me up to ask for a drink and some medicine, and I willed myself out of bed and down the stairs to get him what he needed.
