Where’s Danielle?

Published by Danielle under Uncategorized

Not here, anyway.

Some of the kids and I are staying with my parents for a few days while Dan completes the floor refinishing project that never seems to end and man do I ever appreciate my generous parents’ hospitality and my hardworking husband who slaves away with a sander in this heat while I spend my days lounging lakeside beneath a shady tree.

But today I wanted to check in here to be sure you don’t miss Hallie Lord’s (aka Betty Beguiles) excellent feature article about What Our Grandmothers Knew at Faith & Family Live.

And now, until further notice, you can find me here:

My husband, he is vacuuming.

Vacuuming.

It’s a shop vac of course. And he’s using it in our living room which he has stripped bare of all its contents in anticipation of sanding and refinishing the floors in the next 3 days.

But it’s vacuuming nonetheless. And my husband is doing it. And beggars can’t be choosers now, can we?

It’s a circumhorizontal arc. Cool!
