Hi! I work at a very small Catholic school and have wanted to see one of these in person. Think they would be great to reinforce the sacraments, especially First Communion, but can’t figure out how to make them. I’m a hands-on person and looking at websites hasn’t helped me. Enter my name, please.

I would love to win a laptop as my husband, Michael, passed away October 23, 2007 and he lived in Canada for 40 years. All his siblings and cousins live in Ireland. Our daughter, Deirdre, has her own Apple laptop and somehow, I think a laptop would help me to grieve quietly on my own. Life throws difficulties out to us to handle ourselves. He loved life to the fullest but had a difficult time since his vein bleed in 2001. I would love to be able to contact relatives regularly on a computer at home. There are many things I am unable to do on my work computer as we are a psychiatric hospital. I’m hoping that 2009 will be a better year for me, Dee (aged 27) and my mother (aged 82).
In any event, should I not win, I will continue to try and be a better person every day.
Thanks for listeing to my story.

I just want to let you know that there are readers of this website in Hungary (Europe) as well. With my husband we have been subscribing Faith and Family M. for two years and that is a revival kit in this household of three kids (from February already 4). I think Catholic publishing is not so fruitful here than in America. I also like this idea of lapbooks as we have not let our daughters (age of 6 and 4) attend Relation classes yet because we prefer family example and experiencing things together (like own-made gifts, cooking together, etc.)
God bless you all and your families!

We would love this. we’ve been singing the song and talking about it, but I can’t remember all the symbolism. Plus with a new baby, I find myself with little time to look things up and certainly no time for a big craft I have to plan myself. Merry Christmas!
