It’s been a few years since we saw The Secret of Roan Inish but we watched it again last night. It’s a beautiful family movie filled with fun and fantasy. (It was in this movie that Dan & I first heard the name Eamon- we liked it!)

July 26th, 2005 Dan took the kids to swimming lessons. Seems like a simple, innocuous statement, doesn’t it? Well, in my head it sounds more like this: DAN TOOK THE KIDS TO SWIMMING LESSONS! and it is followed by a shriek of panic and a gargantuan anxiety attack. I know I am supposed to want this kind of thing to happen. July 23rd, 2005 is it that 2 year old Gabrielle has already figured out that if Mama says “no” to candy, there are still a number of ways to get the good stuff? Of course she can plead her case to Papa. Or she can ask Kateri, Eamon, Ambrose, Juliette, or Stephen. If Grandpa happens to be around, he is usually good for a sugar dose too. But if, perchance, all of these July 22nd, 2005 I am cleaning up my inbox. I really want to answer every single person who wrote to me about my Ephesians 5 post, but even more than that I want to be a good wife and mother and finish up an article with a looming deadline, so.
