April 28th, 2005 We can only eat so many omelets. The hens have been laying about a dozen eggs a day recently and we can’t keep up. The cartons of fresh eggs in the fridge and a 70-cent loaf of day-old bread from the grocery store inspired me yesterday afternoon. Of course I had to make bread pudding.
